    Dear Students/ Parents 
    Shaheed Bishan Singh Mem Sr Sec School, New Delhi hope all its class 10 students of batch 2023-24 will be promoted to class 11 with flying colours in board results which is expected by the month of May.
    Keeping in mind the importance of time and regular school, classes for session 2024-25 will start from 15th April, Monday.

    Dear Parents/Guardians,
    We want to highlight a crucial matter concerning the physical well-being and growth of our students, particularly the impact of heavy bag weights. It has been observed that carrying excessive weight can impede your child's physical development. Hence, we kindly request your cooperation in ensuring that your child brings only the necessary books to school as informed by teachers.
    NOTE: Bring to the notice of school administration if information lacks from teacher’s side.

    Additionally, we urge you to use lighter bag materials, pack lighter lunch boxes, avoid bulky pencil boxes, and opt for compact water bottles. 

    Your adherence to these guidelines is vital for promoting a healthy learning environment conducive to your child's growth and development.

    As the winter break approaches,you have a unique opportunity to create a positive  impact  on our community through social service. By actively participating in social service, you not only contribute to the well being of community but also develop valuable life skills such as empathy, teamwork and leadership.
    This winter break,we encourage each and everyone of you to engage in meaningful social service activities as part of your holiday homework.you can volunteer any activity such as
    * Collect and donate warm clothes, blanket and any other warm essentials to needy people.
    * Prepare and distribute meals to homeless.
    * Organise a clean- up drive in your home and neighborhood.
    * Help parents  in small  household tasks
    * Offer tutoring to underprivileged children.
    Capture your efforts through photos/videos and send to your class teacher via mail.

    SUBJECT: IMPORTANT: NO EARLY LEAVE OR HALF-DAY REQUESTS ACCEPTED

    Dear Parents,
    This is a reminder that, as previously communicated, taking HALF-DAY OR EARLY LEAVES FROM SCHOOL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED/ NOT ALLOWED. This rule applies to regular school days as well as examination days. Please ensure that your child is present for the full duration of the school day.
    The school will not entertain any requests for early leave or half-day dismissals. In the event of a forced request or emergency, your child will be marked as absent for the day including exam days. This decision is crucial to maintain an uninterrupted learning environment

    To gear up for our upcoming Annual Sports Day Game On-2023 of middle and senior segments, we have given SBSMS sports t-shirts to students today.
    You are requested to arrange an off-white plain sports bottom/ lower to be worn under the sports T-shirt and off-white sleeves (thermals and leggings are strictly not allowed). Please ensure no other color is acceptable, and sports shoes is compulsory.

    Please maintain the uniformity in unform for  the program.
